Eligibility Criteria
for ICAR Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
M.Sc.
(AG) / M. Tech. in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Biotechnology / Plant Physiology
/ Botany / Life Science / Bioinformatics OR
Master’s
degree / M. Tech. in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s
degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point
average. OR
Master
degree in basic science with NET qualification

Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2018)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed Max. 35 yrs. for men and Max. 40 yrs. for women..
The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years
for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

25,000/- per month + HRA for 1st year & 2nd Year, Rs. 28000/- per month +
